Maintainer Privacy Policy

Privacy-first home maintenance reminders.

Maintainer is designed to help you remember home upkeep tasks while keeping the app simple and local-first.

Effective date: 2026-07-15

Summary

Information stored by the app

Maintainer stores the home maintenance items you add, reminder settings, and completion events locally on your device using SQLite.

This local app data may include task names, due dates, completion dates, and notification settings that you create or choose inside the app.

Data collection

Maintainer does not send your maintenance items, settings, completion events, or home data to the developer's servers.

The app does not include server sync, cloud backup, analytics, advertising, user accounts, or purchases.

Privacy and support links

When you choose Privacy Policy or Get support in Maintainer, the app opens your browser to this GitHub Pages website. Maintainer does not send your app data to this site.

GitHub Pages may process standard website request information when your browser visits this site. That processing is governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Maintainer can schedule local notifications on your device for upcoming maintenance reminders. Notification permission is controlled by iOS and can be changed in Settings.

Deleting data

You can delete maintenance items in the app. You can also remove app data by deleting Maintainer from your device.

Changes to this policy

If Maintainer adds accounts, sync, analytics, crash reporting, purchases, or other data collection in the future, this policy and the App Store privacy answers must be updated before release.
